Remote Learning
This page has been prepared by the class teachers to support pupils to continue to make progress should they be unable to access school for any length of time. Below are ideas of activities and resources for you to try at home with your child if you choose too:
The Sensory Projects
Follow the link to view educational resources, including links to live activities such as massage stories, Soundabout music sessions and Tac Pac sessions from The Sensory Projects
BBC Bitesize Parents' Toolkit: SEND containing SEN resources and activities.
The Oak National Academy: The Oak National Academy is a Government initiative which contains lessons for remote learning.
The website, www.thenational.academy contains sessions such as sensory stories and sensory circuits which may be suitable for our pupils. To find these on the website click ‘lessons’ under the ‘Parents and carers’ heading. On the next page, click the tab ‘specialist’ in the top right hand corner. There are a range of different areas from this page for families to explore. The ‘Early Development’ area contains sensory stories and sensory circuits. Other sections on this page also contain ‘Early Development’ activities. The ‘Applying Learning’ areas also contain activities which may be suitable for some of our pupils. We recommend having a look at the website in advance of working with your child to explore the different sessions and resources needed.
